The FLIR are a Southern California based band with a sound that has been described as “dreamy guitar pop” and “electro-shoegaze”. With Female vocals that range from delicate to driving along with spiraling guitars, innovative beats and bass lines the FLIR have carved a unique niche for themselves with their distinctive sound.

 

The FLIR music is charged with sensuality and for their 2005 LP release: “Please, Please,Please”, the band was looking to capture it visually for their CD and promotional material. Inspired by the black and white nude photography they produced as initial part of their campaign, I crafted imagery that extended their sensuality to an ethereal level.
